I lost my virginity

27dinner

Hey, it looks like you're new here to my blog! You may want to consider subscribing to my RSS feed and you'll automatically get notified when I post a new blog entry. If web feeds aren't your thing then why not join my email list by clicking here. Thanks for stopping by.

Well it’s official – I’m no longer a virgin and my first introduction into the real-world geek community was fab. At first glance the 27dinner can be a little overwhelming however when you actually start introducing yourself to people it’s amazing to see how many people you actually know – even if just virtually.

Lots has been written about this unique 27dinner thing and I unfortunately don’t have anything unique to add to the discussion apart from the fact that I enjoyed myself immensely. I never really thought meeting this virtual lot could actually be such fun!

Great meeting you Justin, too bad there was nothing open at around 2h30 for another couple of pints.

Hey, it was great to finally meet you last night. Hope to see you at the next one. But before that we’ll see you at the sablog awards right?

Ja, no, what a pity, no more time to more drunk and THEN get stopped by the damn popo. What a mare.

    Wezzo, good meeting you dude!

Aquila: Great meeting you – I really wanted to chat more with you but that cheap-skate Grant kept me very busy indeed.

Nic: I’m still pissing myself that you got stopped by the cops… Funniest thing I’ve heard all year so far ;)

Carls: Maybe a good lesson for next time that we should only play on the weekend?

    Hi Justin!

I know it’s been a while since the 27 Dinner, but it was great meeting you finally after hearing so much about you previously… Of course an honour to meet the guy who sorted out our database hassles in one foul swoop after many hours wasted on my part! :)

I look forward to chatting at the next encounter…
