Hi,

I have a issue with my Mac, I can not add a new schedule in my ical, it is sync with Exchange 2007, but I add a sheduled from another place like windows PC, I saw the scheduled in my ical, do you have some idea what is the problem?

Just saw this in the seed notes for the upcoming 10.5.6.

“iCal can now identify VTIMEZONE with a simple offset and no transition dates”

Does this have any relevance to the Exchange/iCal offset bug?

The following works for me in Hong Kong with my Hong Kong-based Exchange server:

perl -pi -e ‘s/$GMT\+08\.00$\ Kuala Lumpur\/Singapore/Asia\/ Hong_Kong/g’

Have you ever thought about a script that modifies the iCal invite on the way out so that an invite can be properly processed by the Exchange recipient?

Try to download the iCalFix-latest.tar file but the file not exist.
Can you please fix it by uploading this file again.

I'm in Kuala Lumpur and this Reg.Ex. works for me:

perl -pi -e 's/(GMT+08.00) Kuala Lumpur/Singapore/Asia/Kuala_Lumpur/g' $ICSFILE

No, the rule only applies to Apple Mail. Not sure though if it will still work using Entourage…
